Celebrating Hedgehog Week
May 1st – 7th 2022 is #HedgehogAwarenessWeek – a national week dedicated to highlighting top tips and advice to help your local hedgehogs.
Hedgehogs are now classed as ‘vulnerable to extinction’ on the UK endangered species list due to their dramatic decline in numbers.
Recent reports have shown that many hedgehogs are now living in urban areas, but urgently need garden owners’ assistance to be able to survive and one day thrive again.
To celebrate #HedgehogAwarenessWeek we will be running a giveaway across our social media platforms – LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
The prize… a special #HedgehogHighway by Timloc hamper that includes:
– A Multi Hedgehog Highway by Timloc – Black, Brown, Yellow or Grey
– A Veroyi Outdoor Camera
– Spikes Hedgehog Food
– X2 Hedgehog Food or Water Bowls
– And a Timmy the Timloc Hedgehog
We would like to learn more about the hedgehogs visiting your garden. To enter simply like and comment on the competition post on social with some information about the hedgehogs. Any information like the below would be excellent:
– How many hedgehogs visit your garden?
– If you have installed a Hedgehog Highway?
– If you have a hedgehog house incorporated in your garden?
– Do you feed your hedgehogs?
– Have you ever taken a sick or injured hedgehog to a rescue charity? If so tag them in your comment.
– Any pictures of your hedgehogs in your garden or going through a highway.

Terms & Conditions
Competition is open to UK residents only and you must be over 18 to enter.
The competition runs from Sunday May 1st 2022 to 6pm Saturday May 7th 2022. Any entries submitted after this date and time will not be included.
The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries collated across all Hedgehog Highway by Timloc social media channels.
Hedgehog Highway by Timloc will contact the winning entry directly. The winning nominee must respond within 7 days to claim their prize. If the winner does not come forward within 7 days a new winner will be chosen.
We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant if we have grounds to believe the entrant has breached any terms of the competition.
Any non-hedgehog related stories will not be included in the draw.
Entries from any staff members from the Alumasc Group plc group of companies will not be included in the draw.
